Grandma, Grandpa, & Miles

Grandma, Grandpa, & Uncle Jeff spent Christmas week with us and we had a great time! Miles visited Santa and told him he wanted "toys and treats." Afterwards he asked Ron, "What did Santa's breath smell like?" and Ron said "I don't know, what did it smell like?" and Miles said "Peaches." Perhaps peach schnapps? Aunt Fancy & Uncle David came down for the afternoon and Miles opened cool remote control gifts. We took in the Festival of Lights at the Del Mar Fairgrounds on Christmas Eve and on Christmas Day Miles awoke to his assorted gifts including an aquarium with 3 freshwater fish (1 fish has since had about 9 babies!), boogie board, alligator swimboard, ukulele, action figures, vehicles, books, videos, games, and treats in his stocking. He later received more great gifts including PJ's, a finger puppet set, and silly faces gear. During the week, he and the family visited the Museum of Natural History and the Train Museum and took in a puppet show. He was sad to see them go but we are looking forward to having them back in February when Max arrives.
