We're going to save this for Max's college soccer highlight tape!
Max Names his Trucks: I love how he says bulldozer: buldo-buldo
Max Sings ABC's
Max Sings London Bridge
One year ago at this time it was the month before Max's first birthday. He was just starting to walk! Now here we are one month before his second birthday and he has grown and developed so much! He runs, jumps, catches a ball, and does other funny physical feats like drop-kicking, walking backward, shuffling sideways, and galloping. He can zip and unzip, open doors, and go up and down the stairs holding the railing. He rides his scooter and can pedal his trike. He blows bubbles in the water, counts to 10, sings the ABC's, and other songs like Jingle Bells, Twinkle Twinkle Little Star, and London Bridge. He unfortunately loves junk food - he tried soda this month and while most kids flinch at the carbynation - Max loved it! Max has picked up all kinds of funny expressions from Miles: Watch this, Mommy! and Look at me! He repeats things we say, like "Go to your room, Miles!"
A couple of funny things about Miles. Most kids tell their parents "I hate you" at some point. Well, Miles has that one down and so last week when he was mad at me he not only said "I hate you" but he added "And you're ugly. And you have a bad hairstyle!" The comment about hairstyle is a big insult in our house. We've been having Scoops sleep in Miles' room so Miles won't be scared. Scoops has a history of being disruptive in the middle of the night - but surprisingly with Miles he stays peacefully by his side all night long. Scoops is definitely Miles' cat!
