A Short Collection of Poems written by Miles Pulvers, age 5.75
Crawl
The bug crawls up
The bug flies down
The bug looks out
The bug looks down and all around
Swim Fishie Swim
Swim swim swim
Get back to your house
Your food is waiting
Not a doubt
Will you come or not?
It is time to go
See you next time, goodebye!
Crocodile Bath
Crocodile swims
Crocodile sighs
Crocodile goes
Buffaloes Breakfast
Charge charge
Here he comes
The buffalo waits
But now it is empty
But he asks for more
He will not stop, will he?
Jump In
The lilipads
Hop hop hop
Splash splash splash
A rock plops in
The frog jumps in
Splash splash
They plunge right down
He looks on the newspaper at his house
It is a great newspaper
It says the new sheriff in town
It will never stop the newspaper from going down down down
Quicksand is hard
But the frog jumps over
The rock sinks
Seaweed sways
And the beavers all go into their house
Logs roll
The wind rustles
The leaves blow
The branches sway
A fly comes
The spider gets it
Sun goes down
Moon rise
Bybe bye frog, see you next time
He goes to bed
He wakes up at 3:00 and he plays a game that says, pick me pick me!
That character is hard to beat
It's wintertime
You must wake up
Don't be late for Christmas cookies
For Christmas school will never have an end
The clock says don't wake up
It's morning
Not yet
The sun set
