It was a sunset party and Max enjoyed his favorite spot on the swing with an ocean view
His actual birthday fell during our family vacation in Newport Beach.
We spent the afternoon of his birthday at the boardwalk arcade (Miles is a serious gamer, at least as serious as his parents' limits allow him to be).
Miles shared his cotton candy with Max.
The birthday boys (Ron's birthday is the day after Miles')
A highlight of the summer was that Miles started swimming! Soon after Miles got his cast off he took off on his own, entirely self-taught. He has become a great swimmer and enjoys wearing his goggles and swimming to the bottom of the pool.
Max continues to emulate his brother and likes to jump in like Miles does. Max knows how to hold his breath and can actually swim without his wings for 10-15 seconds.
